I've have been a baking soda and vinegar type of household cleaner since having my first child. I always look for ways to clean home in a environmentally safe and cheap manner. Sometimes I find that there are things that baking soda and vinegar cannot clean the toughest jobs no matter how much elbow grease you put in it. In these situations, I turn to slightly stronger household cleaners to get the work done. To keep it more environmentally friendly the JAWS- Just Add Water System, is a unique cleaning system that reuses the plastic bottles of cleaning solutions.
All you do is insert a cylindrical cleaning cartridge into a standard-style cleaning bottle from the company and add your own tap water. Presto - your household cleaner is ready to use. And when you're done, you keep that bottle and insert another cartridge. (The cartridges are 2½ inches long and are child safe.)
There are four types of these JAWS cleaners: JAWS Glass & Hard Surface Cleaner, JAWS Multi-Purpose Cleaner/Degreaser, JAWS Bathroom Cleaner/Deodorizer and JAWS Disinfectant Cleaner Degreaser. They average around $5 per bottle and include two cartridges for refills.

I recently used the bathroom cleaner and deodorizer and I loved it! I used it all over the bathroom- tub, mirror, toilet, and sink. It completely deodorized the bathroom and removed the soap scum that I had underneath the bar soap holder. The scent was not overpowering and it left my bathroom smelling and looking clean. Sometimes I get tired of the lingering vinegar smell after I clean so this was a refreshing change.
