Volunteering your Family at SF Food Bank

Volunteering contributes not only to society and our local community but also to our own well-being.   Getting children involved in volunteering instills and teaches compassion, a desire to help others, and a strong sense of a self.

If you are looking for a fun activity for your entire family head over to The San Francisco Food Bank at 900 Pennsylvania Ave to volunteer.  The minimum age limit is 8 years old during Saturday projects, and 4 years old during Sunday projects.

The San Francisco Food Bank has a calendar set up on the website which allows you to sign up for a shift and see how many participants already committed for each time slot. Even working one shift will make a difference and leave a positive impression on you and your family.
