The first product he tried were the Milk Bone Healthy Favorite treats. I think my dog will eat anything, so of course he enjoyed these treats. His affect, however was that he was more excited to receive these treats rather than the regular bones we would throw him. I didn't feel bad giving him these because the product boast "oven baked dog treats containing all natural ingredients with added minerals, without any fillers, animal by products, artificial colors or artificial preservatives."
We were also able to try the Milk Bone Mini's which were awesome in getting him do what we wanted him to do. They were handy to have in our pockets on our walks. Who says you can't teach a dog new tricks? With these treats, he'd stand on his hind legs for minutes on end.
I never got why people cared so much about why people bought the good stuff for their dogs. I've always thought that table scraps and non nutritive dog treats were sufficient in keeping my pup happy. But in reality, these creatures are our protectors, companions, and family. I wouldn't feed my family just anything!
*I was given samples for Red to try, my opinions are honest.
