Dreamworks, the Help (PG-13, 2hrs 17min) opens in theaters nationwide on Wednesday, August 10, 2011.
Written and Directed by, Taylor Tate, this movie takes place in Mississippi in the 1960’s.

An unlikely friendship between three very different women develops around a secret writing project that breaks all societal rules and puts the three at risk.

The Help, stars Emma Stone (Skeeter), Viola Davis (Aibileen), and Octavia Spencer (Minny) all find courage and strength in each other to stand up for what they believe in even if it means crossing lines.

I was given the great opportunity to interview Octavia Spencer (Minny) and her thoughts on the message this movie brings to everyone. Octavia Spencer– “The movie is about empowerment and finding your inner voice, and standing up for what you believe in. This movie, is based on the NY Times #1 Bestseller the Help, and is a summer MUST see, and I encourage you all to head to the theater and see it for yourselves. You will not be disappointed.
