Craft Event at California Academy of Sciences in SF on August 16th

On Thursday, August 16th the Nightlife Event at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco will be transformed into a crafter's paradise from 6pm - 10pm. Admission for the event is $12 and $10 for Academy members. Note last entry is 9:00 pm.

Roll up your sleeves and make something awesome, alongside expert crafters from The Crucible, Make SF, SCRAP, GoGo Craft, and Spindles & Flyers. Do some summer gift shopping (for yourself or others) with a mini-edition of Bazaar Bizarre, bringing a creative collective of local makers and their DIY, handmade goods to peruse. Music by DJs Avalon Emerson and Derek Opperman of Lost in the Night.

-6-8pm Rainforests of the World (Last entry at 7:45pm)
-6-10pm Bazaar Bizarre: 20+ Local Makers/ Piazza
-6-10pm DJs Avalon Emerson and Derek Opperman of Lost in the Night/ Coral Reef & East Pavilion
-6-10pm Earthquake- New Exhibit!/ West Pavilion
-6-10pm The Craft Cocktail Tour/ Bars Throughout
-6:30-10pm The Crucible, SCRAP, GoGo Craft, Make SF and Spindles & Flyers Craft Stations/ African Hall
-6:30pm Universe Update/ Planetarium
-7:30, & 8:30pm Earthquake: Evidence of a Restless Planet/ Planetarium
