Maddi's Matchmaker Adoptathon - Free Bay Area Pet Adoption on June 9th and June 10th

Maddie’s Fund will hold its third annual Maddie’s Matchmaker Adoptathon where adoptions for all dogs and cats are free on Saturday, June 9th and Sunday, June 10th at more than 80 locations throughout Alameda, Contra Costa and San Francisco Counties

In addition to offering free adoptions, Maddie's Fund is also donating between $500 to $2000 to the participating organizations for every adoption they do this weekend -- $500 for healthy young pets, $1000 for older pets or those with specific health issues, and $2000 for every cat or dog who is both a senior and has a health problem. Both the San Francisco SPCA and San Francisco Animal Care and Control are taking part, as are dozens of San Francisco rescue groups.

  1. Yeah, I actually heard this kind of matchmaker in some of the top online dating site reviews, it's like there's this online site in which the site itself will search out for the most eligible cat owners in town. I though the idea is really cool and innovative perhaps they could also do something for the dogs as well.
