Seasonal Fruits For March

My family and I frequently visit the farmers market and I always look forward to finding and trying new seasonal fruits. Our latest discovery is kishu mandarins - they are teeny tiny mandarins that is the size of a ping pong ball and is bursting with flavors! They are easy to peel and seedless which is always a plus for us. You better try them quick as they aren't going to be around much longer as they are getting towards the end of their season.

Here's a list of seasonal fruits available in March.

Cherimoyas
Grapefruit
Guavas
Kumquats
Lemons
Limes
Mandarins
Oranges
Pomelos
Strawberries

If you live in the SF area and want to locate a nearby farmers market, go here.

Note although this is a list of the expected seasonal fruits, sometimes fruits and vegetables are a little earlier or a little later to arrive than expected due to the Bay Area being surrounded by different micro-climates, with varying and different growing seasons.
