Seasonal Vegetables For March

My family and I frequently visit the farmers market and I enjoy touching and picking my own vegetables versus the ones that are already packaged. I also enjoy talking to the vendors and getting tips on how to prepare the vegetables - always come away with new ideas.

Here's a list of seasonal vegetables available in March.

If you live in the SF area and want to locate a nearby farmers market, go here.

Note although this is a list of the expected seasonal fruits, sometimes fruits and vegetables are a little earlier or a little later to arrive than expected due to the Bay Area being surrounded by different micro-climates, with varying and different growing seasons.
