Sunday Street Event in Mission District Today, May 6th

Today's Sunday Streets event will be taking place in the Mission District. Sunday Streets is San Francisco's official block party - a monthly neighborhood celebration where the streets are closed to vehicles so people to get out and get active in the neighborhood.

Here are some of the activities that will be going on:

- Circus Center: miniature circus show with acrobats, clowns, juggling lessons between 14th & Valencia

- Capoeira Classe:  Capoeira Mission from 11am to 1pm. between 15tn & Valencia

- Centro Del Pueblo: bike repairs, DIY screen printing between 16th & Valencia

- Bay Area Semi Secret Square Dance Society: live fiddles, band, dances taught, no experience necessary from 1pm-3pm between 18th & Valencia

- Integral Yoga Institute: free yoga sessions starting on the hour. No experience necessary between Valencia & Liberty St

- SFBC Freedom from Training Wheels between 24tn & Valencia

- Kid’s Music Festival and Activities between  Bartlett Street and 24th

- Dance & Music performances by Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts at the 24th Street BART Plaza

- Funky Town Roller Disco between 24th & Shotwell

- B-Boy/B-Girl Hip Hop Dance and lessons  between 24th & Treat

- Low rider cars and programming by Lower 24th Street Merchants & LatinZone Productions between 24th and York
